This week I've been trying a new brewery to the U.K beer scene, Braybrooke Brewing Co. This brewery is based in Leicestershire and solely focus on lager beer. The first beer from this brewery is Keller Lager, a beautiful malty, light and refreshing kellerbier that is unpasteurised, unfiltered and properly cold stored for 4-5 weeks before bottling.
Using the great technical skills of Stephan Michel, a brew master and owner of world famous Mahrs Brewery, they have created a beer with a distinct colour and aroma, this has a malty sweetness, that reminds me of many traditional Oktoberfest Biers I tucked into when at Oktoberfest, not as sweet as those but absolutely beautiful too.
I am really looking forward to seeing what other great German influenced beers will be coming from this new brewery and I can't wait to get them in the fridge for everyone to try.
