We were not expecting to find the location for our brewhouse this soon into the year but we have just agreed terms and now it is a waiting game for the paperwork to come through and be signed. This means that by the end of 2023 we will have our very own brewery.
What’s Happening At The Three Hounds?
Chris brings his Live At Thornsett Road back to Three Hounds this year after 15 amazing sell out nights in 2022. This monthly music event is an intimate, unplugged storytelling night with original and independent musicians from around the world bringing Folk, Americana and Blues to the room. One of the most relaxing music nights in Beckenham. Tickets are available for Wednesday 18th show. However, if you can’t make it this Wednesday tickets for February and March are also on sale too.
We also have a brand new comedy night starting this February. Wondersplash is an exciting new comedy night featuring the best alternative comedians on the scene. The line-up is unknown, the tickets are free and this is one not to be missed.

We are also now on the hunt for a brewery. This week we agreed terms on what will be the site of our new brewhouse. We aren't looking to get our beers into every pub, bar and bottle shop out there but to bring our brewing in-house allowing us to brew our award-winning Pendulum all year round, brew lots more unique beers and explore styles, recipes and ingredients and bring you, if all goes to plan 10 Three Hound beers on tap all year round. Alongside 10 guest beers too bringing our tap line up to 20 by the end of 2023.
What We Brewing, What We Gonna Brew?
When you know Pale, hoppy beers sell really well you go out a book in a Belgian Wit and Saison brew days. Yep, that's us. We thought it would be a really good idea to brew up two styles that Matt really likes and why not do that when sales are a little slower at the start of the year. The Belgian Wit will be using Orange Peel and Coriander, while the Saison will play about with Guayusa and Lime Zest, which was one of Matt’s favourite homebrewed recipes. These are both being brewed up this week and should be on the taps in the next 3-4! Once these two are done we have scheduled Pendulum and Get To The Choppa to return. We will also be doing several cask editions of Get To The Choppa including aging on Oak Chips and using Gunpowder Tea. Watch this space and it's going to be a great year for special releases and developing more awesome beer.
Our Peanut Butter Dark Chocolate Stout has hit the taps and has been going down a treat. The Peanut Butter isn’t in your face and at 4.7% it is a Stout that you can keep going back too.
Final Words
Second week into the year has been great. Expansion on the horizon, brewing two of our favourite beer styles and so far a busy start to 2023 gives us hope for a good year.
