Battle of the Breweries - Round Three

Sorry for the cap for your weekly update, Matt was truly sleepy after a week in a tent, in 31c heat and attending a Metal Festival in German called Wacken Open Air. He might of needed a week off from his week off. However, we are back and raring to go.

This week sees Battle of the Breweries Round Three with Burnt Mill & Burning Sky going head-to-head for a spot in the Battle Royale Final later this year. The beer list is looking as awesome as ever with lots of great beers from both. The full list can be found below and the battle starts this Thursday from 2pm.

We have also added a few more events to the calendar this month with our brand new Snakes & Lagers Board Game Social. This will happen on the last Sunday of the month. So if you have that board game you've wanted to play for sometime, then grab your mates, book a table and enjoy an afternoon at the Three Hounds. We are also welcoming Cliveeys Collectibles to the bar on Saturday 22nd. We are good friends with the team and Cliveeys Collectibles and we are all about supporting other local businesses, so what better way to get your TCG fix then to sip on a pint of Pendulum at the same time? We will have more details on this Pop-Up Event next week.

This Sunday we will be at Beckenham Rugby Club for a vibrant day of celebration at the Inclusivity Festival 2026. There will be live music, a variety of stalls, engaging hands-on workshops, and much more. This family-friendly festival welcomes all ages, so bring your friends and loved ones to make unforgettable memories. Tickets are available now and you can find them here. We will be donating 50p of every pint sold at the event to Bromley Mencap.

🍻 What's On Cask! 🍻

We didn't want to do this as we are big fans of Cask Ale but due to the weather and people gravitating more towards the keg lines we have seen a massive fall off in Cask Beer sales. This unfortunately means we are going down to just two Cask Beers over the Summer, we have however, installed our Summer Cask Cooler this week so ensure the Cask Beer is at a fantastic temperature once poured, if sales do pick up we will slowly go back up too four lines. However, this pretty much realise on people popping in for a pint of the good stuff, and this week we saw even are most loyal Cask drinkers go for the colder keg beers.
