Our first Battle of the Breweries is over and out of the two fantastic breweries we had on the taps Supercute go ahead to the Battle Royale at the end of the year beating Pretty Decent by just 4 votes. Off the top we are pushing back our Jaipur Cask Takeover on Wednesday due to the extreme heat. We love Cask Beer and believe that Cask Weather is all Weather. However, that works when you have a great range at a lower abv, not three casks all sitting at 5.7%+ on one of the hottest days of the year. During May the Campaign For Real Ale celebrates the every enjoyable and perfectly made for Cask, the Mild. The 2026 Three Hounds & Beckenham RFC Beer Festival has come to an end. Beckenham Beer Festival at the Beckenham Rugby Club hosted by Three Hounds & Beckenham RFC is this week! Fridays drinking starts at 3pm with an exhibition match between Beckenham RFC & Croydon RFC kicking off around 7pm. While Saturday starts from 11am and also sees the Family Touch Rugby Tournament from 11am to 1pm before the Competitive Touch Rugby Tournament starts around 2pm and finishes at 4.30pm. Just at the top our Breweries of Brazil Tap Takeover will not be going ahead this week. Unfortunately the beer hasn't landed in the UK, which means we don't have any beer for the Tap Takeover to go ahead this week. However, the beers will be here for the Tap Takeover on April 16th. Hopefully this hasn't caused too much of and inconvenience for you. We are launching our Drop Project x Silent Brew x Three Hounds collab beer this Wednesday, so make sure you pop down for that.

We are hitting the ground running this year with our collaboration brews as we prepare to install our own brewery at the bar. This kit will allow us to brew 100L batches at a time, giving Rob and Matt the opportunity to continue growing their knowledge, experiment with beer styles not often seen at the bar and rebrew the likes of Get To Da Choppa and California Soul. Yep, you read that right. Our Award-Winning Session IPA, Pendulum, just added another award to the ever growing list. Pendulum first award was Beer Of The Festival at the 2022 Bromley CAMRA Beer Festival before being rated 3rd highest rated Session IPA in England in the Untappd Community Awards in 2024 and for 2025 Untappd Community Awards Pendulum took home Gold and is the highest rated Session IPA on Untappd from the England.
