Brew Day Collab

Few weeks back we teamed up with our good mates at Drop Project and Bohem Brewery for a little brew day collab and we are launching the beer this Saturday at PengeFest. Tmavé is our new 4.5% Czech Dark Lager for the Autumnal months ahead and we plan on offering a more authentic Czech-Style Pour through a Lukr Tap, this will allow us to offer more traditional Czech Beer pours including Hladinka, which for us will be a schooner pour with an added dense foam to finish off the pint, this helps balance the sweetness and bitterness. Šnyt, which will be a split between 50% beer and 50% foam, sold as a half of course and then Mlíko, which will be a pint glass filled almost entirely of the sweet & creamy foam with just a third of beer at the bottom of the glass. Mlíko is perfect for an end of night dessert like finish to your evening. These pours won't be at PengeFest but will be on the bar from Monday next week. We also have a cask of Tmavé that will be hitting the September Cask Beer Showcase from 20th to the 23rd.

In Cask News we have seen a pick up in Cask Beer sales the last couple of weeks which means we are slowly making our way back to four casks on at all times but for now we are back to three. Over the next week or two we will slowly have Jarl from Fyne Ales and The Ordinary Bitter from Anspach & Hobday back on as permanents while the other two rotate through a great selection of beers including what we have below. 

September is here and we have lots of events from you to get involved in from the usual Sips & Strategies, Suds & Social and Magic: The Gathering  at the Three Hounds to some new events coming your way. First off is a new Satirev Collective Pop-Up Art Session on September 14th, which will be a creative evening aimed at not just a great way to meet new people but to focus on your wellbeing through art. This year we are also starting the Three Hounds Harvest Festival - Month Long Celebration of the Harvest which will run from September 24th to October 24th. Throughout the month we will be looking at the Beer & Cider scene and giving them a little more love and appreciation than we already do. Kicking off the month long celebration is our Autumn Cider & Perry Showcase on the 24th September, expect ten amazing Still Ciders from some of our favourite producers from across the UK, as well as a selection of Bottled & Can Ciders too. Then on Saturday 3rd October we will be at Beckenham Rugby Club for a little Oktoberfest, with aside of Rugby for everyone to enjoy. For those who love a good Lambic and Spontaneously Fermented Beer, Sunday 4th October will be our Wild Ales Showcase where we will be digging into our collection from the past couple of years  and sharing some of our favourites with everyone. Then we have a Belgian Beer Tap Takeover on Thursday 15th October and this will showcase seven great Belgian Beers and hopefully including a Green Hop Belgian Beer too. Then on Sunday 18th October, our Green Hop Cask Beer Showcase will be on for four days and include eight to ten Green Hop Beers to really celebrate the harvest of fresh hops in the UK. During this whole month of celebrating the harvest we will have a dedicated Oktoberfest and Festbier line on for everyone to enjoy.
