Our First Collab Of 2026

Firstly, we would like to thank everyone who reached out to us about last weeks newsletter and our thoughts on David Jesudason mention of the Three Hounds and Matt, in his article on How Pubs Help Us Mourn. The responses truly where wonderful and shows how wonderful our neighbourhood is. Last weeks newsletter can be found here if you missed it.

This week we have lots to talk about from our first collab brew of 2026, our first Beer Festival of the year, March Events & our March Mini Cask Festival.

Staring with our Silent Brew Tap Takeover last week which was a great night and a fantastic example of the industry working together. Not only did this Buxton based brewery have 8 Beers on Keg & Cask at our little bar but the next day our Matt, Rob with James from Silent Brew headed to Drop Project to work on a three way collab brew. This brew not only helps us work even closer with Drop Project, who brew our Award-Winning Pendulum and collab Stitch, but also help us with equipment for events and allow us to use their brewery for collabs likes this. We also got to introduce the two breweries, which resulted on more beer heading to Manchester for Drop Project and hopefully opening up a few doors in London for Silent Brew. We will have more details on our collab brew in the coming weeks, so stay tuned for that.

Not all collabs are sitting around a brewery talking hops and drinking samples of beer. Sometimes these collabs come in the form of Beer Festivals and we are proud to be working with Beckenham RFC again this year for another Beer Festival & Touch Rugby Tournament. This May 8th & 9th sees us help raise money for BRFC in the form of a two day beer festival. Tickets are now on-sale, with day tickets being just £3 or weekend tickets being £5. Not only will there be amazing beer for you to enjoy but on the Friday night there will be a Friday Night Game of Rugby for you to watch and on the Saturday a family and then competitive Tough Rugby Tournament for you to enjoy. All money raised from ticket sales and beer sales goes back into improving the facilities at Beckenham RFC and securing the future of this established local Rugby Club. Tickets are now on-sale so get in early and help us make this weekend of Beer & Rugby rather awesome.

March arrives this Sunday and that means a whole month of exciting new events at the Three Hounds, and this March is looking big on Tap Takeovers. We have 10 Casks from Welsh Breweries for St. David's Day which is our March Mini Cask Festival, then Duration from Norfolk are in the house before Bullhouse from Northern Ireland takes of the Taps for St. Patrick's Day. Rounding off the beery goodness is ten amazing Beers from Brazil. For this Untappd peeps out there, we can help you get a fair few badges ticked off.

For those not interested in beer we also have our Monthly Chess Night on Monday 2nd March, two Magic: The Gathering Nights on the Tuesday 3rd & 17th March and Joseph Parsons is back for another Work-In-Progress Show for you to see. More details on all of these in the coming weeks.

Don't forget LaTR:3H is this Tuesday with another amazing night of live music. Headlining the Februarys show is Steve Dagleish. Who known for his compassionate songs and intricate finger-picking. Based in London and originally from Hull, he has been an active presence on the acoustic music circuit for many years. There is only 3 tickets left so make sure you get yours before they are gone.
