Monday Club Is Back

Everyone loves a good discount and every Monday at the Three Hounds we offer just that. At Monday Club you can get our award-winning Pendulum, Session IPA, for just £5 a pint and all our Cask Ales are just £4 a pint, please note that Cask Club discount is not valid on those Cask Beers. We will also have a couple of beers with a nice 10% off if you didn't fancy a Cask Beer or Pendulum.

Today, Monday the 12th, we also have the return of Sips & Strategies, our Monthly Chess Night. This is a social event aimed at beginners and experienced Chess Players to meet up, play a game or two and get to meet like minded people. Pop in from 7pm and get playing a game of Chess or two.

January is normally a month where many people either cut back on their alcohol consumption or do Dry January. This doesn't mean you can't swing by the Three Hounds for a Pint or two. If you hadn't already known we have Cloudwater, Fresh on tap all year round, this is a 0.5% Hazy Pale that is becoming one of Matts favourite Alcohol-Free beers. Throughout January you will also find Wiper & True, Tomorrow on tap as well for those looking for a 0.5% Lager alternative. We of course have our usual 10 to 14 cans of Alcohol-Free Beer in the fridges for you to pick up to enjoy at home or at the bar. 

We are gearing up for our Tap Takeovers this month with Drop Project, Verdant Brewing and a Showcase of Scottish Breweries all taking to the Taps & Hand-Pulls. First is Drop Project on Wednesday the 21st, who will have 6 Kegs and 2 Casks from you to enjoy including their yearly release of a fan favourite. Verdant then takeover the taps on Friday the 23rd with 6 Kegs and 2 Casks, expect see a Coffee Edition of their Burnthouse on Cask, plus some very exciting beers from the the Cornish setup. We wont be stopping then, with Sunday the 25th being the start of our week long Breweries of Scotland Showcase. We already have confirmed on Keg and Cask the likes of Loch Lomond, Fyne Ales, Otherworld, Vault City plus we plan on adding several more breweries over the coming week.

There is only 7 tickets left for the first LaTR:3Hounds of the year. the fantastic night sees music and story telling from Milton Hide & Scurravagus. Tickets are £11 and can be found here.

Lastly we want to say a big thanks to everyone who popped in during our opening weekend of 2026. It was great to see lots of familiar faces. It was wonderful chatting to many of you and remembering why we do this. Our neighbourhood is awesome and we couldn't of done it without you all.
