Three Hounds Harvest Festival!

Big love to everyone who popped along to the  Supercute Beer Festival on Saturday just gone at Croydon Road Recreation Ground. The Festival was super chill, the music was vibing and we had a blast. We spoke to a few wonderful people about some great pop-up events at Croydon Road Rec in 2027, so watch this space.

Friday sees a Tap Takeover from Sureshot out of Manchester. Where we will have three different variations of their rather wonderful Small Man's Wetsuit. Not only the original on Keg but also on Cask, as well as a 6.0% IPA and a 4.5% West-Coast version on the beer. We also have another Pale Ale at 5.0% and a 4.8% Pilsner from Sureshot for you too enjoy. All six beers will be pouring from 2pm.

On Sunday we have our first Snakes & Lagers Boardgame Social for anyone looking for a spot for a few mates and a couple of games. You can drop us a DM and book your table today.

September is right around the corner and we have lots of events from you to get involved in from the usual Sips & Strategies, Suds & Social and Magic: The Gathering  at the Three Hounds to some new events coming your way. First off is a new Satirev Collective Pop-Up Art Session on September 14th, which will be a creative evening aimed at not just a great way to meet new people but to focus on your wellbeing through art. This year we are also starting the Three Hounds Harvest Festival - Month Long Celebration of the Harvest which will run from September 24th to October 24th. Throughout the month we will be looking at the Beer & Cider scene and giving them a little more love and appreciation than we already do. Kicking off the month long celebration is our Autumn Cider & Perry Showcase on the 24th September, expect ten amazing Still Ciders from some of our favourite producers from across the UK, as well as a selection of Bottled & Can Ciders too. Then on Saturday 3rd October we will be at Beckenham Rugby Club for a little Oktoberfest, with aside of Rugby for everyone to enjoy. For those who love a good Lambic and Spontaneously Fermented Beer, Sunday 4th October will be our Wild Ales Showcase where we will be digging into our collection from the past couple of years  and sharing some of our favourites with everyone. Then we have a Belgian Beer Tap Takeover on Thursday 15th October and this will showcase seven great Belgian Beers and hopefully including a Green Hop Belgian Beer too. Then on Sunday 18th October, our Green Hop Cask Beer Showcase will be on for four days and include eight to ten Green Hop Beers to really celebrate the harvest of fresh hops in the UK. During this whole month of celebrating the harvest we will have a dedicated Oktoberfest and Festbier line on for everyone to enjoy.

🍻 What's On Cask! 🍻

We didn't want to do this as we are big fans of Cask Ale but due to the weather and people gravitating more towards the keg lines we have seen a massive fall off in Cask Beer sales. This unfortunately means we are going down to just two Cask Beers over the Summer, we have however, installed our Summer Cask Cooler this week so ensure the Cask Beer is at a fantastic temperature once poured, if sales do pick up we will slowly go back up too four lines. However, this pretty much realise on people popping in for a pint of the good stuff, and this week we saw even are most loyal Cask drinkers go for the colder keg beers.
